Washington, D.C., Part One!

My 2011 New Year's resolution: to blog atleast once a month {hey, it's a start!}

This blog post brought to you in part by Starbucks free Wi-fi. {I am working from my coffee spot on 7th Street because my house currently smells of paint and looks like a train wreck {more on our kitchen remodel later!}

Here is the first set of photos from our trip to Washington, DC. Stephen & I took a quick weekend trip {Thursday-Sunday night} at the beginning of this month. What a fun time! We stayed at the Donovan House Hotel- I must say- one of my fav's! Here's proof:

I thought I'd seen it all...until this shower!!! You walk in and go around in a circle like a shell and the water comes out of the ceiling in the very middle!!! I could so deal with having one of those!!!


Not only that...but you could see the other side of the shower from the room....it was too neat!! Here's what it looked like lit up.


Loved the clean, luxurious simplicity of the bed!

After dinner we took a stroll down the block and realized we were too tired and ran back to the hotel and chilled for the night. We also wanted to get good and rested for a long day of walking!!
